Lynne Caryl L. Ac., Owner and Practitioner of Harbor Acupuncture, has over twenty-six years experience as a primary healthcare physician in Oriental Medicine. Introduced to acupuncture while writing her thesis in Japan, she became intrigued with traditional Asian Medicine and began her life-long love and practice of this ancient science. Licensed in California in 1987, Lynne graduated from the Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz, California. Lynne has studied and presented internationally, including being invited to the world renowned Shanghai Hospital where she worked with Director, Dr. Xian Ming Huang focusing on diabetes, internal medicine and herbs. At the Beijing Hospital Lynne worked in endocrinology, the cardiac and the renal clinics. In China at Hang Zhou University she worked in the children’s clinic, the internal medicine clinic, and the injury recuperation clinic. At Chengdu University her focus was dietary medicine. Lynne has also done extensive doctorial studies in Los Angeles and New York and is currently writing a book under the mentoring guidance of Dr. Jeffrey Yuen.
Having Juvenile Diabetes since the age of one, Lynne lectures extensively on behalf of the American Diabetes Association and other groups associated with diabetic care. She is renowned for her personal, healthy diabetic lifestyle, and is recognized for providing precise and accurate education and treatment for diabetic health. Her time-tested lifestyle program helps other diabetics achieve optimal results. Lynne lectures regularly for the American Diabetes Association and other groups associated with diabetic care. Lynne has been a guest lecturer at the Five Branches Institute, Santa Cruz Medical Association, The American Diabetes Association and the Jocelyn Diabetes Hospital among others.
