"I’ve been a lifelong athlete who is used to recovering quickly, and can generally tolerate pain, but sure was in a lot of pain this year. Somehow I managed to tear a chest muscle and strain the trapezoid muscle group, both on the right side. The rhomboid and deltoid were caught in a tug of war between two injured strong muscle groups and the pain was severe and relentless.
My usual response for such pain was to visit my friendly neighborhood chiropractor, Glenn MacWhorter, who I can always count on to make the adjustments that relieve pain and allow my body to quickly recover. After several routine adjustments, the pain continued. Glenn tried several more techniques that only a learned and caring provider of health could, but the pain could not be lessened for more than a few hours. As the weeks turned into months and I continued to lose ground (loss of sleep, exhausted from continuous pain, and worsening attitude), I wondered if I would ever resume my athletic way of life again. I asked Glenn what he would do, he suggested that I see Lynne Caryl.
I have very little knowledge of acupuncture other than comments I’ve heard through the years. However it works, it seems to have been a positive experience for many local friends.
The treatment took about 90 minutes. As I arose from the table, I realized that I could move my shoulder, although I feared the pain would return at any moment. I drove home and expected the pain to return that evening. The days passed and the pain never returned.
It was incredible enough being pain free before I left Lynne’s care, but the manner is which Lynne applied her craft was equally impressive. Like Glenn MacWhorter, Lynne is a healer who genuinely glows with joy and her smile reflects the confidence in her knowledge and the assurance of the outcome."
